A haulier’s path
The future haulier follows the House of Training courses then sits the professional competence exam. With five years of management experience in transport or a higher or technical degree, they may be exempted from the courses, but the exam remains compulsory. A certificate issued by the designated authority of another European Union country is accepted.
The permit is then applied for from the Ministry of the Economy, with the common conditions: good repute, a fixed establishment in Luxembourg and an effective manager.
