Please note. Business Registration SARL-S is a private advisory firm. It is not the Luxembourg Business Registers (LBR), the economic interest grouping that officially runs the RCS, the RBE and the RESA. Filings and registrations are made with the LBR, at the fees it publishes.
In short
RCS registration in Luxembourg is the entry of a commercial company in the Trade and Companies Register, managed by Luxembourg Business Registers (LBR). The filing is electronic, within one month of the deed of incorporation, with the request form and the deed; the extract is published in the RESA and the company receives its RCS number.

Frequently asked questions
How long does registration take?
Once the complete file is filed, processing by the LBR is generally quick, in the order of a few working days. The LBR first checks that the file is complete, then assigns the RCS number and publishes the extract in the RESA. An incomplete file therefore lengthens the timeline.
Can a company invoice before it is registered?
The company acquires legal personality on incorporation, but registration makes it enforceable against third parties. In practice, wait for the RCS number and the VAT number before issuing your first invoice, so that the mandatory details appear on the document and your customer can identify you without ambiguity.
