Frequently asked questions
Is young innovative enterprise aid a loan?
No, it is mainly a grant, paid in instalments. The balance of the funding need must come from private investors: the aid covers up to 70% of the need projected over 3 years, within the limit of EUR 1,000,000 per company. It therefore does not cover the whole need.
Can Fit 4 Start and young innovative enterprise aid be combined?
They often follow one another: Fit 4 Start at the start-up stage, then young innovative enterprise aid once turnover and R&D are established. The aid requires at least EUR 40,000 of turnover and R&D expenses of at least 15% of operating costs, as well as an innovation certificate from Luxinnovation.
