In short
A registered office address in Luxembourg is the official seat of a company, provided under a domiciliation agreement by a regulated professional who also receives its mail. Only credit institutions, authorised financial sector professionals, lawyers, auditors and other regulated professions may offer it. We introduce you to a lawyer, who invoices their own fees.
What domiciliation includes
- A registered office address in Luxembourg
- A domiciliation agreement compliant with the law of 31 May 1999
- Mail reception and notification
- Identity checks required of the domiciliation agent
What it does not replace
A domiciliation is not a physical establishment. For the business permit, most activities require premises where the activity is actually carried out. See registered office or dedicated office.

Frequently asked questions
Can a business centre domicile my company?
Only if it belongs to a profession authorised by the law of 31 May 1999. A simple office lease is not a domiciliation, although it may amount to an establishment for the business permit. Check the provider’s regulated status before signing a domiciliation agreement.
Can a company be domiciled at a private home?
It is possible if the lease or the co-ownership rules allow it. It is not, however, a domiciliation within the meaning of the law, since the seat is then genuinely at your home: no regulated professional is involved and no domiciliation agreement is signed.
