Website design in Luxembourg
Your website is often the first contact with a client, a bank or a partner. It must state clearly what you do, for whom, and how to reach you, while meeting the information requirements specific to Luxembourg.
- Brochure site, appointment booking or online shop
- Legal notices, privacy and cookies in place from launch
- FR, EN or DE versions to fit your clientele

Offer of the month: your 5 page website free of charge
This month, we offer the design of your 5 page brochure website. The terms of the offer (eligibility, page content, hosting, domain name and duration) are set out in writing in your quote, before any commitment.
In short
Website design in Luxembourg must meet information requirements: a company site displays its name, registered office address, telephone, email, business permit number, RCS number and VAT number, and informs visitors how their data is processed. We design a site suited to your activity, compliant from launch.
Which site for which need
| Type of site | Who it suits | What it does | Point of attention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Brochure site | Consultant, tradesperson, liberal profession, service company | Presents the offer, reassures, generates contact requests | One clear message per page and a simple form |
| Appointment booking | Practice, salon, coach, repairer | Shows available slots and confirms bookings | Client data to protect, automatic reminders |
| E-commerce | Selling products or services online | Catalogue, payment, delivery, invoicing | Terms and conditions, right of withdrawal, VAT |
The right format depends on how your clients buy. We settle it during the diagnostic, before any mock-up.
What is specific to a website in Luxembourg
- Legal notices: trade name, company name, registered office address, telephone, email, business permit number issued by the Ministry of the Economy, RCS number and VAT number. Certain regulated professions have additional rules.
- GDPR: privacy policy, management of consent for non essential cookies, forms limited to useful data, contracts with the providers that host or process this data.
- Languages: Luxembourg lives in French, German and English. A local clientele of individuals often expects French and German; a clientele of international businesses, English. Two well translated languages are better than three approximate ones.
- Google Business Profile: a listing with the right category, address, opening hours and a link to the site. It is often the first thing a client sees when searching for a provider nearby.

What we do not do
We do not draft your general terms of sale: for an e-commerce site, we refer you to a partner lawyer. We do not publish prices for website design, because the scope varies widely with the type of site, the number of languages and the functions requested.
A website consistent with your company
The information on the site must match your registers: the same company name as in the RCS, the same registered office address, the same activity as the one covered by your business permit. A gap between the site and the registers draws the bank’s attention when the account is opened.
If you sell online, VAT, payments and distance selling rules are prepared from formation: see starting an e-commerce business in Luxembourg. Once the site is live, digital marketing brings it visitors.

Frequently asked questions
What legal notices are required on a Luxembourg company website?
The site must allow the professional to be easily identified: trade name, name of the legal entity, registered office address, telephone, email, business permit number, RCS number and VAT number. The Ministry of Consumer Protection sets this out in its e-commerce factsheet. Regulated professions also check the rules of their chamber or professional body.
Must my website be in three languages?
No general rule requires three languages. The choice depends on your clients: French and German for a local clientele of individuals, English for an international clientele. We recommend starting with the languages your clients actually speak and adding others when the business justifies it.
Do I need a cookie banner?
A consent banner is required as soon as the site sets non essential cookies or trackers, for example for advertising audience measurement or social networks. A site that uses only technical cookies does not need to ask for consent, but must inform its visitors in its privacy policy.
Why create a Google Business Profile listing?
When a client searches for a provider nearby, the Google Business Profile listing often appears before websites. It shows the address, opening hours, telephone and a link to your site. It is free, but must stay consistent with the information on the site and in the RCS.
How long does it take to build the website?
The timetable depends mainly on the type of site and on the availability of content: texts, photos, prices, translations. We set out a step by step timetable in the written proposal issued after the diagnostic, with no promise of a deadline we do not control.
